The mass-killing of straydogs in Romania, TAKE ACTION!!!!!!!!!!

The officials in Calarasi, Romania has detected a fox wich they claim has rabies. How ever, when this fox was sent to an independent lab the test showed that it did NOT suffer from the virus.
The mayor of Calarasi has taken this as a exuse to start a mass-killing of all the straydogs in Calarasi. At first they also wanted to kill the pets of private persons but Save the Dogs stoped that from happening.

The straydogs are captured with steel-snares that cause alot of damage on the dogs necks. They are then put in cages to await their own death.

The animals are put to sleep with cruel and painful methods. They are beaten to death or suffocated. Sometimes the even spray a poison into their lungs to cause a long and painful death by suffocation.

My respons to this is horror and anger towards the people that are capable of this behaior agains animals. We must speak up and give these dogs a voice.
As new members of the EU, Romania should be more concerned with their immage and should also realise that we DO NOT treat animals in this way in the EU.

Save the dogs have a very sucsessful project in wich they catch dogs, neuter and spay them, treat them and vaccinate them, and them set them free again.
This will in the long run be a better way to make sure that the straydogs does not increae in numbers.

I beg all of you who read this to log on to this page and sign the protestlist where we object to the creuelty to the straydogs.
Please do this now and help us to put an end to the abuse and torture of these innocente animals.
